Valley of the Flower welcomes visitor at 7am in morning and they are requested not to enter the place after 2pm in afternoon as well. Make sure you are out of the valley by five o’clock. Therefore, arrive to 6.45 on the entrance gate for pre-take an entry ticket on 7 AM. You need to begin at 1.30 pm in order to reach 5.00pm.

Surrounding places are Shree Hemkund Sahib, Sri Badranath Ji, Auli, Tapovan, Mana Village and so on!!

Yes, as per order of Government issued on 16th March 2017 only 300 visitors Valleys will be allowed in a day. During the season in 2021 approx. 18000 visited the valley of flowers. Last year, some 1000 foreign tourists passed through the Valley as well.

For trekking to the Valley of Flowers one has to train every day to be able to finish the expedition. While trekking to the Valley of Flowers, do not carry heavy luggage.

However, valley opens only in June, and to taste the greatest number of different kinds of blooms people have to come in times of rains. It is advisable to visit the valley during July and August.

Valley of flowers opens on the first day of each year that is 1st June, and they close its doors on the 4th of October. However, it is at the discretion of the forest department, and Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, for any further action, i.e., the government of India.
